Thousands of individuals and entities have been placed on one of many Restricted Party Lists. In addition to criminal lists and healthcare debarment lists, there are lists for previous export violators. Regardless for what reason, U.S. persons have an obligation to ensure that any person or party with whom they conduct business is not on one of these lists.

TAKE NOTE: Foreign universities and scientific institutions can and have been placed on restricted parties lists. Interaction with such entities must be carefully reviewed as export license may be necessary. All exports, transfers of technology, research projects, or travel to such entities must be screened by the Office of Export Controls.
