Focus groups to shape the future of research administration and support at Duke
Duke University is undertaking a comprehensive review of its research and innovation offices that provide administrative assistance, compliance oversight, and support services across the institution. The purpose of this review is to create a more agile, future-focused model that advances the University’s mission, anticipates emerging needs, and positioning Duke to lead in an evolving research landscape.
Input from the research community is essential to shaping this work. The Office for Research and Innovation will host a series of virtual focus groups for faculty and staff to provide input on various administrative and support areas. Focus groups are open to all faculty and staff working directly in research (central office input will be gathered separately), unless otherwise specified below.
