NIH Implementation of ORCID IDs and SciENcv

For all NIH applications and RPPRs submitted on or after May 25, 2025, applicants/recipients will be required to obtain an ORCID ID to enter into the Persistent Identifier (PID) section of the Common Forms. Additionally, applicants/recipients will be required to use SciENcv for completing and certifying the Common Forms.

Researchers are encouraged to begin adopting these platforms well ahead of the deadline. Access resources below to help with this transition:
