NIH Reminder Notice: Applications must be complete and compliant with policy and application instructions at time of submission
On December 17, the NIH released a reminder to all applicants that all NIH Applications Must Be Complete and Compliant with NIH Policy and Application Instructions at Time of Submission.
The NIH reserves the right to withdraw any application that is incomplete or non-compliant with the instructions found in the SF424 application guide, Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO), or other NIH policy.
Helpful resources to ensure complete and compliant applications:
- Familiarize yourself with myRESEARCHpath content regarding common errors in proposal development and how to avoid them
- A full submission ready application must be uploaded in Grants.Duke. at least five (5) business days prior to the submission date. Access guidance for electronic submission in myRESEARCHpath.
- Utilize the ‘check’ functionality in Grants.Duke, and address validations/errors that are returned prior to sending the application for central office review.
- Additional guidance on submission ready applications can be found here.
