NSF MFTRP Annual Certification

In accordance with NSF Proposal and Award Policies and Procedures Guide (PAPPG) Chapter II.D.1.e(ii), effective June 9, 2025 PIs and Co-PIs who have received an NSF award made on or after May 20, 2024 must complete an annual certification that they are not a party to a Malign Foreign Talent Recruitment Program (MFTRP).

• PIs or Co-PIs with an active qualifying NSF award will be prompted to complete the MFTRP Annual Certification when they log in to Research.gov.
• Certification must be completed before submission of Annual Project Reports or conducting other Research.gov activity.
