Project Overview:

Duke University’s research mission is to drive innovation, expand knowledge, and create transformative impact through interdisciplinary inquiry and collaboration. Duke's research enterprise depends on a network of core facilities and service centers to provide the resources needed to fulfill this mission. To ensure the sustainability of this support and resource infrastructure, Duke has begun a transition to a new online system that will eventually replace CoreResearch@Duke. This software - iLab - will be rolled out to Duke’s Cores and Service Centers in small waves beginning in early 2026. Once a Core is live in the iLab system, the services they offer will no longer be available in CoreResearch.

  • A list of Cores and Service Centers currently available in iLab can be found here.
  • Instructions for accessing the iLab platform will be made available once the first wave of Cores completes their transition to the new system. To access the current system, CoreResearch@Duke, please visit the School of Medicine website.

About iLab:

Agilent iLab is an online platform being implemented by the Duke School of Medicine’s Office of Space Management and Research Resources in partnership with the Office of Academic Solutions and Information Systems (OASIS). This software will feature the core functionality necessary to manage access to research equipment services and equipment amongst users of Duke’s Core Facilities and Service Centers, including a billing process that is integrated with the University’s financial systems.
